Manochlamys albicans (Ait.) Aell.				
Citrusdal; Modderfontein. At foot of the Olifantrivier Mountains.
500 m east of the farmyard. Fynbos vegetation. Stony, yellow sand-
j soil. Shrub to 0.7 m high, commences branching with a few branches
from the base and forms a semi-erect, spreading, densely branched
shrub to ±70 cm high, branches to 1.5 m long. Leaves break off easily
and the small side-branches split off easily but the larger branches
itself don’t break so easily. Leaves dark blue-green. Fruits greenish
when young but green-yellow when mature. Uncommon.
Common name: ‘Seepbos’.
