  • Description

    Tree 8 m tall, the trunk 16 cm diam; bark brown, flaky, resembling Ulmus bark, outer bark ridge layers flaking off revealing pinkish under bark with flat ridges; leaves at top of tree similar to those near the base. This tree resembles a Fraxinus cultivar planted as a street tree, with flaky bark and compact rounded crown. Probably spontaneous.
