Description
Middle-sized tree, up to about 90 ft. Small flange buttresses at base. Bark reddish-brown. Branches ferrugineous-hairy. Leaves greyish-silvery sericeous beneath. Sep. brownish sericeous. Buds greenish-yellow sericeous. Pet. very beautiful, opening freely, pure white, the outer sometimes with a central longitudinal flush of pink in the lower third. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
