Fitzhugh property [6 miles north of Cayucos, Santa Lucia Mountains.
Cypress Mountain Quadrangle,T28S, R10E, sections 3,4,5,8,9,10,
15,16,17. 1000-acre property containing within its boundaries the
origins of Cottontail, Cayucos, Villa, and Cienega Creeks. Property
contains Geode Mountain (rhyolite), sedimentary formations, and
serpentine. Soils vary from hard rock to rich humus. Land mostly
occupied by oak woodland and chaparral], 1/2 mile southeast of
Geode Mountain.
