Broadleaf evergreen rainforest.
Terrestrial. Differs from typical M palmense by short hairs
between the veins on both lamina surfaces, and glands on the
lower side. The scales on the pinna costa are entire. Possible
hybrid between M. palmense and M. intermedium.
