    Shrub, 1-2 m tall. Leaves ovate (cf.,JLC 10511 & 10512). Abaxial leaf surface reddish-green. Flowers uniformly yellow to yellow suffused with red to unifromly red. Corolla surface and terminal buds with resin deposits. Corolla lobes fimbriate Bracts and c.

900-1000 m. Bosque pluvial. Shrub, 1-2 m tall. Leaves ovate (cf.,JLC
10511 & 10512). Abaxial leaf surface reddish-green. Flowers uniform
yellow to yellow suffused with red to unifromly red. Corolla surface a:
terminal buds with resin deposits. Corolla lobes fimbriate Bracts and
calyx lobes lanceolate. Inflorescence with 3-5 flowers clustered on ape
