Description
Thorny shrub, branches weakly slender, up to 3 m.; leaves dark green, lustrous above; paler beneath but still dark; calyx bluish purple, but often with green; corolla pale blue lilac slightly irregular; tube curved; fruit tough, juicy, splitting calyx; dull yellow. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
