Transitional forest - cloud forest (canopy dominated by broad-leaved vegetation) or canopy dominated by pine (Pinus occidentalis).

Description
Pendent epiphytic herb. Abaxial leaf surface green with red venation. Calyx lobes bright red. Corolla tubular and uniformly yellow. NOTE: corolla lobes with appendages (not seen in other populuations).
