(80° 05' W 03° 52' S) Alt. 450 m.	Feb 26, 1997
Degraded primary dry forest. Tree 10 m x 25 cm DBH. Cortex fissured
longitudinally in 5-10 cm long pieces. Leaves dark green above and below, with
orange glands below. Inflorescence axis, pedicels and calyx with brown velutinum
Corolla dark yellow.
