Brushy areas and floodplain forest along Bark River, Acer saccharinum, A. negundo, Celtis occidentalis, Fraxinus pensylvanlca var. integerrima, Populus deltoides. Slender shrub or young tree with single stem, 4.5 m. tall, 5 cm. in diameter. Fruit green, turning reddish, then black. Voucher for wood specimen, MADw 46586. Coll.: M.
