stream channel, on soils mapped as frequently flooded,
poorly drained, strongly acid clay (Chumabog Series, Typic
Epiaquerts), ca. 2900 ft. SSE SW of Old Richmond Road
bridge over Red Gully, at N29°37’35.6”, W095°40’09.9”.
Elev. ca. 75-80 ft. SW part of Cullinan Park in Sugar Land.
Associates included Acer negundo, Altemanthera philoxeroides,
Asclepias perennis, Bnmnichia ovata, Carex cherokeensis, C. lupulina,
Celtis laevigata, Cephalanthus occidentalis, Fraxinus pennsylvanica,
Hydrocotyle (umbellata), Ilex decidua, Limnosciadium pinnatum,
Phanopyrum gymnocarpon, Triadica sebifera, Ulmus americana,
Zizaniopsis miliacea.
