draining toward Elizabeth Lake; south slopes toward
Green Valley. Lake Hughes 1.5' USGS Quadrangle; T6N
R14W, NW/4 NW/4 section 6. Elev. ca 4540-4560 feet.
Somewhat flattened summit dominated by grassland
with a rich diversity of herbs; unfortunately, ¿so heavily
invaded by non-native annual grasses, probably
introduced by post-fire seeding after a recent local fire.
Descending slopes clad in chaparral.
Herbaceous perennial, scattered in grassland.
Corolla 13-14 mm long, light purplish-lavender with
darker veins; banner & keel apparently glabrous; center of
banner with a white patch and dull reddish-violet streaks.
