BURNET CO.: stems twining into shrubbery; corolla rotate,
with 5 oval lobes; occasional in partial shade of live oak and
post oak on level upland underlain by Sycamore Sand, on
soils mapped as moderately deep, well drained, neutral
cobbly clay loam (Spicewood association, Pachic
Argiustolls), central part of Anderson Tract, ca. 300 ft. E of
Co. Rd. 410 from a point ca. 1.6 roadmiles N of jet. Co. Rd.
411 north of Spicewood, at N30°30.843’, W098°09.460\
Elev. 800 ft.
Associates included Carex muhlenbergii, Celtis reticulata, Cynanchum
unifarium, Juniperus ashei, Prosopis glandulosa, Quercus fusiformis, Q.
stellata, Sophora affinis, Tragia brevispica, Ulmus crassifolia,
Zanthoxylum hirsutum.
