mapped as deep, moderately well drained, neutral to slightly
acid fine sand (Patilo Series, Grossarenic Paleustalfs), NW
side of Wine Cellar Rd. ca. 0.4 roadmiles S of Gate 7, ca.
0.8 airmiles S to SSE of jet. US Rt. 290 and F. M. 696 near
Butler, at N30°17.972\ W097°18.011\ Camp Swift
Training Center (Texas Army National Guard). Elgin East
Quadrangle. Elev. 450-450 ft.
Associates included Froelichia cf. latifolia, Helianthus debilis,
Heterotheca subaxillaris, other sandyland forbs.
