CALDWELL CO.: perennial; foliage light green or yellow-
green; bracts mostly white; corolla white; occasional in
sandyland herbaceous vegetation on occasionally shredded
highway right-of-way through post oak woodlands on
rolling landscape underlain by Carrizo Sand, on soils
mapped as deep, moderately well drained, neutral to slightly
acid fine sand (Patilo Series, Grossarenic Paleustalfs), S side
of F. M. 713 at hilltop ca. 3.8-4.0 airmiles W to WSW of jet.
St. Rt. 304 at Delhi, at N29°50.956\ W097°27.135\ Delhi
Quadrangle. Elev. 600 ft.
Associates included Asimina parviflora, Berlandiera texana, Carya texana,
Chrysopsis pilosa, Cnidoscolus texanus, Croptilon sp., Digitaria cognata,
Eragrostis secundiflora, Eragrostis sp., Gaillardia sp., Helianthus debilis,
Lechea mucronata, Matelea cynanchoides, Polypremum procumbens,
