occasional along margin of narrow strip of loblolly pine -
post oak woodland between road and parking lot, on level
upland underlain by Eocene sands, on soils mapped as deep,
well drained, slightly acid fine sandy loam (Axtell-Tabor
complex, Udertic Paleustalfs and Aquic Paleustalfs), N edge
of parking lot for golf course at Bastrop State Park, ca. 1.4
airmiles ENE of jet. St. Rt. 21 and St. Rt. 95 in Bastrop, at
N30°06'34.6”, W097°16’03.5”. Bastrop Quadrangle. Elev.
520 ft. Area NOT burned during Bastrop Complex Wildfire
of September 2011.
Associates included Ambrosia trifida, Campsis radicans, Celtis laevigata,
Cocculus carolinus, Helianthus annuus, Ligustrum japonicum, L. sinense,
Paspalum dilatatum, Salvia coccinea, Sideroxylon lanuginosum, Torilis
