occasional in herbaceous vegetation in clearing bordering
post oak woodland on gently sloping upland underlain by
Carrizo Sand, on Soils mapped as deep, well drained,
slightly acid fine sand (Silstid Series, Arenic Paleustalfs),
near pond at S end of airstrip on W side of Hogan Ranch, ca.
0.65 airmiles S of main house, ca. 4.5 airmiles SW to WSW
of jet. St. Rt. 713 and St. Rt. 304 at Delhi, at N29°47’57.3”,
W097°27’48.7”. Elev. 540-550 ft.
Associates included Asimina parviflora, Calymmandra Candida,
Eupatorium compositifolium, Facelis retusa, Houstonia pusilla,
Hymenopappus artemisiifolius, H. carrizoanus, Oenothera laciniata,
Opuntia sp., Pyrrhopappus pauciflorus, Senecio ampullaceus, Stillingia
sylvatica, Tradescantia subacaulis, Triodanis sp., Vulpia octoflora.
