    Limestone-gravelly, north-facing slope. Pinyon-juniper woodland. Locally common.

  • Description

    Corolla throat and limb blue, the tube violet; staminode with straight, spreading yellow hairs; anthers blue-gray; calys lobes straight; corolla ventricose-ampliate, the throat 2-ridged at the mouth, the upper lip arched back, the lower lip projecting-spreading. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
