m FLORA OF TEXAS Tragia brevispica Engelm. & Gray TRAVIS CO.: stems twining; frequent along margin of post oak woodland on nearly level upland mantled by Pleistocene terrace deposits, on soils mapped as Chaney fine sandy loam, S of baseball diamonds in NW part of East Metro Park, ca. 0.5 airmiles NW of jet. of Blake-Manor Rd. and Burleson-Manor Rd, at N30°17.415\ W097°31.609\ Manor Quadrangle. Elev. 570 ft. Associates included Bouteloua curtipendula, Cyperus retroflexus, Eragrostis secundiflora, Forestiera pubescens, Juniperus (virginiana?), Matelea reticulata, Opuntia leptocaulis, Prosopis glandulosa, Prunus mexicana, Quercus stellata, Rhynchosida physocalyx, Richardia tricocca, Symphoricarpos orbiculatus, Ulmus crassifolia.
