upper part of landscape, ca. 2.7 airmiles SW of jet. St. Rt. 16
and R. M. 2372 at Strawn, at N32°31.475’, W098°32.202’.
Palo Pinto Mountains State Park. Strawn West Quadrangle.
Elev. 1280-1290 ft.
Associates included Aristida purpurea, Asclepias asperula, Aster
ericoides, Bouteloua curtipendula, B. hirsuta, Dalea frutescens,
Desmanthus velutinus, Juniperus ashei, Opuntia lindheimeri, Rhus
lanceolata, Stenaria nigricans, Yucca pallida.
