Polvaala senega L.

Tallgrass prairie occurs in a railroad right-of-way approximately 1.6 miles north
of Kensett and on the Iowan Surface. Polvaala senega is locally common on
the east side of the railroad right-of-way in poor quality mesic prairie. The
flowers are white. Polvaala senega is associated with Bromus inermis.
Melilotus officinalis. Pastinaca sativa. Phvsalis heterophvlla. Poa pratensis.
Stipa spartea and Viola pedatifida.
