as very deep, somewhat poorly drained, moderately alkaline
clay (Tiocano Series, Udic Haplusterts), W side of a N-S
stretch of US Rt. 281 (Old Military Highway), ca. 0.5-0.6
roadmiles SSE of jet. F.M. 1421, NW of Brownsville, at
N25°59’09.7”, W097°36’03.6”. Elev. ca. 40 ft.
Associates included Ampelopsis arborea, Clematis drummondii, Cynodon
