Habitat
"Salao": herbaceous vegetation on steep, seasonally inundated riverbanks composed of concretions. Ferns, mosses, Poaceae, Cyperaceae. Frequent on upper part of steep salao formations.

terrestrial herb. Terrestrial fern with drooping fronds to 3 m long, petiole ca. 1 m long, sori black. Near high-water mark of river. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
