Range. Fertile moist loam.
Mesic to wet subtropical rainforest [moist to wet
sclerophyll forest with rainforest understory]
apparently dominated by *Eucalyptus acmenoides*,
*Eucalyptus grandis*, and *E. biturbinata*. Fruits red,
fleshy, in pendulous panicle about 2 feet long, leaves
clustered at ends of otherwise bare stems, 2 meter tall;
open understory areas.
