New York: Bronx Co., Bronx, cultivated at the New
York Botanical Garden.
Shrubs to 3 m. tall, with slender stems from base,
apparently spreading by rhizomes; the larger
original plant nearby, cultivated between Kennedy
gate and the swale. Stems with very pale orange,
nearly clear runny, sticky exudate. Fruit light
brown. Voucher for wood specimen, MADw 46987.
