At the edge of moist woods at the entrance of Gregg Park subdivision N.E. of Columbia, with Sambucus, Magnolia virginiana, Vitis, etc. Leaves 3-4 ft. wide and long, inflorescence enormous; present specimens are partial fragments of leaves and inflorescence.
