Many flowers fallen, those remaining are yellow-green;
inflorescence much populated with honeybees and dark
beetles (lightning bugs?), the latter very reluctant to
leave the plant after collection made; tall shrubs on
edge of cutover woods, S side of Sec 251 and just SE
of Brunson Swamp; E edge of site.
