43°18’25”N, 90’°20’04”W. alt. 224 m.
Shrub 2.5 m. tall, with only three major branches. Voucher for
wood specimen, MADw. This year many clonal saplings have
sprung up, to 7 m. from this original plant. Grown in unshaded
yard of farmhouse, of unknown origin, either from local seeds, or
possibly inadvertently included in nursery stock from New York
State. Sap sticky, initially white, within a few minutes turning
creamy-yellow.
