Anacardiaceae Rhus glabra L. det. M. Nee, 2013 WISCONSIN, Richland Co., 3 miles SE of center of Richland Center. T 10 N; R 1 E; NEV4NEV4 sect. 35. 43°18’25”N, 90’°20’04”W. alt. 224 m. Shrub 2.5 m. tall, with only three major branches. Voucher for wood specimen, MADw. This year many clonal saplings have sprung up, to 7 m. from this original plant. Grown in unshaded yard of farmhouse, of unknown origin, either from local seeds, or possibly inadvertently included in nursery stock from New York State.
