ANACARDIACEAE Rhus glabra L.	Female.
Clone 10 m. long, 5 m. wide, the largest stems to 4
m. tall. Voucher for wood specimen, MADw 44270.
Old inflorescences with dark red fruit, those of this
year with brighter red fruits but these already becoming
somewhat dull. Old inflorescences mostly persisting
and ± intact. Many inflorescences drooping.
On E-facing slope, at edge of slope heavily pastured
until 5 years ago and cultivated field. With Quercus
rubra, Q. alba, Q. macrocarpa, Carya ovata, male clone
of R^_ glabra (no. 15080), Rhus typhina (female clone
no. 15062; male clone no. 15063).
WISCONSIN: Richland Co., 3 miles SE of Richland Center.
