Description
Pileus 4-7 cm broad, obtusely convex to convex to plano-convex, dry, white with purplish brown pigments scattered over most of surface, with incurved to inrolled margin, sometimes subsulcate ridged there. Flesh white, unchanging, 1-2 cm thick, with mild odor and taste. Lamellae decurrent, subdistant, thick and waxy, white, unchanging but developing purplish brown stains in situ with age, with even margins. Stipe 3.5-9.5 cm long, 10-25 mm broad, equal or tapering downward, dry, white and fibrillose, developing purplish brown streaks and stains in situ with age; interior white, solid, unchanging.
