miles ENE of Barley Flats). Chilao Flat USGS 7.5' quad;
T2N RI 1W, SW/4 SW/4 east to SE/4 SE/4 sect 5;
elevation ca 4100-5100 feet.
Upper ridgetop an old firebreak; remaining slopes
vested in fairly dense chaparral with Quercus chrysolepis
woodland occurring in patches in the more mesic lateral
draws.
Low, colonial shrub.
