    Georeferencing Quick Reference Guide, Version 2012. Georeferenced to the geographic center of Rio Negro within Cucuí, Amazonas. Using Goolge Maps, located Rio Negro within Cucuí. Used measurement tool to measure a straight line from the beginning and end of the segment of Rio Negro within the spatial boundaries of Cucuí. Halved this distance to approximate the midpoint of the segment. Used Canadensys Lat/Long Crosshairs to find the coordinates of the midpoint, on land adjacent to Rio Negro (east side of the river, nearer to road BR-307). Input coordinates, linear extent (distance from the selected coordinates to the farthest point along the river that is within Cucuí - 11013.3 m.), and measurement error (.01 m.) into the MaNIS Georeferencing Calculator to find the uncertainty radius.
