Bosque Pluvial Tropical selectively logged until ten years ago.
Shrub 1.8 m tall. Uppermost intemodes with spreading rufescent
trichomes like the inflorescence. Trichomes on adaxial leaf surfaces
and margins magenta. Abaxial leaf surfaces with well-developed
acarodomatia where innermost secondaries diverge from midvein.
