viscid, glabrous, margin widely striate;
gills pale yellow; stem central, enlarged
but not bulbous below, slender, whitish,10cm long,
5^6 mm thick at apex, 9 mm thick at base; veil
present, persistent as a membranous white
annulus; volva closely sheathing but free,
white.
