Distribution
Blueberries (in fall fruit) collected on top of Shawangunk Mountains, along the path, leading from AddisT (Crocefs) place up to the Ellenville road, July 2, 1936* Only one plant of this type found. The ‘bloom on the berries (most of which rubbed off while pushing through the underbrush along the trail) was prominent on ten definite lines which extended about half-way down each berry, givijag the berries the appearance of being ovoid instead of round. Fully ripe fruit was extremely sour. Plant low, leaves unusually small. Specimen made and several berries preserved in alcohol. C.H,W» 02542794 02542794
