“Densely csespitose; pileus thin, convex or nearly plane, glab-
rous, whitish and slightly striatulate on the thin 'margin when
moist, white when dry, the margin commonly wavy and irregu-
larly revolute; lamellae thin, narrow, close, adnat'e or slightly
decurrent, whitish; stem glabrous, solid when young, stuffed or
somewhat hollow when old, whitish; spores subglobose, .00016
to .0002 in. long. Pileus 1 to 8 inches broad; stem 2 to 3 inches
long, 3 to 6 lines thick.”
