Louisiana State University Herbarium [LSU] Plants of Louisiana AQULIF OLIACE AE Ilex coriacea (Pursh) Chapman St. Tammany Parish: Abita Creek Flatwoods Preserve, Nature Conservancy property, from LA 36 take LA 435 east to Jack Lloyd Road, turn left on unmarked dirt road across from Moonshadow Road. Go to the end of the dirt road and walk straight into preserve into large open area (several hundred meters in). This area is informally called the “missing link” because of it shares floristic similarities with hillside seep bog habitats and boggy, pine flatwoods/savannas. White flowers. Diane M.
