Knight TOPOTYPE The biggest leaves on any manzanita species! Plumas County, California. Between Tobins and Belden near Injun Jim Campground. 2100 ft. elevation. Growing in an altitudinal belt between A. patula ssp. platyphylla and A. viscida ssp. viscida. On the north fork of the Feather River. Growing with Diplacus grandiflorus and Quercus kellofigii.
