Cornus florida L.
NEW YORK, SUFFOLK CO.: Huntington Station, in Paumonek
Wetland, west of Walt Whitman High School, at the edge of the
woodland next to the school athletic fields. Fruit cherry-red. Leaves
with heavy anthracnose. Growing at the edge of an Oak-Hickory
Mesic Woodland with Celastrus orbiculatus, and Ampelopsis
brevipedunculata growing over it. Same plant as M. Pace # 164.
