Ocm 1 02481015 Flora of Bolivia Family: Azollaceae Azolla caroliniana Willd. Determined by: G. Yatskievych, (MO), 1995 Department of Cochabamba Province of Arani Laguna Juntutuyu: a large (ca. 300 hectare), fairly saline lake. Elevation: 3360 m. S.17°33'50" x W.65°39'14" Growing throughout the lake. Extremely abundant at the time of this visit. However, during the time of the dry season when cattle enter the lake to feed, this species becomes scarce. Vegetation type: Puna.
