Bajo Mono and Bajo Chdrro trails out of Boquete. Shrub rooted in deep humus, 2 meters tall. Bracts rose-purple. Rachis and pedicels white to pink, as is calyx. Calyx-lobe tips slightly callose-thickened. Corolla white constricted at the base. Filaments white, anthers and tubules yellow. Common. James L. Luteyn #3078 1 June 1972 02493653
