Patchy vegetated dry evergreen scrub that is close to the fresh water lens. Area dominated by Myrica cerifera, Metopium toxiferum, Sabal palmetto 24° 10’ 58” N Longitude 75°24'64” W Limbs are boiled and the decoction given to a new mother to drink and bathe in for 9 days after she gives birth. Said to bring all the "clots and bruises out of you" = placenta and afterbirth. Also drunk for menstrual cramps. Laurel R.
