Habitat
On the margin of a water-hole in a gray sandy clay loam in Acacia nigrescens-Feretia apodanthera-Dalbergia-Gardenia-Commiphora green stem and Acacia circummarginata buchland. With another Scirpus-Orysa-Aquat. G. & K. 14459; 14443-Lymnophytum obtusifolium. Not very common.

Description
A perennial tussock herb up to 1ft. tall with 3-angular stems and a dense head of greenish brown spikelets clustered on one side at about 6 in. from the base. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
