Acer glabrum Torrey Small shrub, common on rocky roadside on Peruvian Gulch Trail, upslope from Alta Village, to the south of Cliff Lodge at Snowbird, on state route 210, and high above Little Cottonwood Creek, elevation ca. 8000'; most of the bushes were without fruits, presumably staminate plants.
