NEW yohk botanical garden	Rare ^ scattered clumps; this species has never been
common here in 35 years of observation. With 3-5 stems in
a clump [one “clump” or group of clumps with several
02459236	dozens of stems around a single Zanthoxylum americanum
bush], scattered in hill pasture, mostly alongside shrubs of
Zanthoxylum americanum, never in very shady areas, and
not completely in the open, either. Corolla red.
