dominated by Physocarpus malvaceus & Festuca sp.
Associated species include. Holodiscus discolor,
Dactylis glomerata, & Symphoricarpos albus.
Bordered by forest of Pseudotsuga menziesii & Picea
engelmannii. Also Pinus ponderosa & Abies bifolia.
Elevation 5020’. Substrate metamorphic. Plants
occasional along forest edges. Fruits green to blue-
black. Small tree to 15’ tall.
