Habitat
Canopy edge; with grasses and sedges. Dry rock outcrop among group of 3-6 ft Prunus serotina saplings. Under 6ft Prunus seotina, 5 ft from a 12 ft Liquidambar styraciflua, 20 ft from a 40 ft Acer rubrum and 60 ft Quercus rubra.

Description
10 in plant from group of 4. Foliage smooth on top of leaf, rougher underside. Stem and leaf edge very pubescent. Inflorescence yellow. Seedhead fluffy white. Phenology of specimen: Flower and Fruit.
