west of Big Hank Campground along Miner’s Creek Rd.
(#804), Coeur d’Alene National Forest, NW 1/4 of
Section 25 T.52N R.2E; 3000 ft., northern exposure,
Belt Series parent material; open clearcut in Tsuga
heterophylla/Asarum caudatum habitat type (moist
end) with a great deal of Taxus brevifolia;
occasional with Carex geyeri, Alnus sinuata,
Ceanothus velutinus, Populus trichocarpa and
Pachistima myrsinites; height to 1 meter.
