The New York Botanical Garden Cultivated Plants of U.S.A. Caprifoliaceae Lonicera tatarica L. det. M. Nee, 2011 WISCONSIN, Richland Co., 3 miles SE of center of Richland Center. T 10 N; R 1 E; NEVi NE% sect. 35. 43°18’24.7”N, 90°20’04”W. alt. 223 m. Ornamental shrub, 3 m. tall, with several leaning stems to max. 17 cm. in diameter, all the larger ones rotten. This plant seems to be reaching the maximum age for the species. Planted ca. 1960. Branching fine and dense. This plant has red-pink flowers in spring and bright red juicy berries in the fall. Voucher for wood specimen, MADw, collected from the largest stems with good wood. Coll.: M. Nee 57964 8 June 2011 02442599
