Ornamental shrub, 3 m. tall, with several leaning stems to
max. 17 cm. in diameter, all the larger ones rotten. This
plant seems to be reaching the maximum age for the
species. Planted ca. 1960. Branching fine and dense. This
plant has red-pink flowers in spring and bright red juicy
berries in the fall. Voucher for wood specimen, MADw,
collected from the largest stems with good wood.
