Description
Shrub to 1.5 m, mostly less than 1 m. Leaves ovate, rugose, pubescent, yellowish beneath with primary veins tan-yellow. Floral calyx and hypanthium hirsute orange-red and yellow. Petals purple-black, hirsute. Style wine-red.
